Your script should also focus on you seeing yourself as you really want to be. You will know you love yourself. You will know what is best for yourself. You know you will feel better when you stop smoking.

Once you know what you need to say, you need to put it into action. Find yourself a quiet spot. Sit down, close your eyes and relax. Breathe in deeply. Paint a picture in your mind of a life without smoking. Use strong words and images to implant in your subconscious how great life would be without smoking.
Next, you must program your mind to the idea of smoking as being something undesirable. Create powerful images for your subconscious to listen to. The more vivid the descriptions, the greater the chance your subconscious will accept them as the new reality. This is very important. It combines with the goal of non-smoking to make non-smoking a reality.

Self hypnosis works through visualisation. Visualisation is process that relies on your ability to retrain your subconscious to do what is best – such as quit smoking. Visualisation relies on powerful words to get the message across. These positive words and phrases create a strong image. They provide you with a feeling of beauty, peace, happiness and love. They emphasise the goodness and rightness of the goal. Just as emphatically, they make the bad habit appear as something horrible and even disgusting.
Combining the 2 allows you to re program your subconscious to reject the bad habit of smoking. It helps you perceive yourself as a non-smoker. It also gives you a positive new image as someone who does not need to smoke for any reason. When other methods fail the answer is simple. Use self hypnosis and your smoking will stop.
