Worried about cancer?
I am 18 and have a coughing problem that keeps popping back up and I don’t smoke. My family on my dads side has had a lot of problems with lung cancer. A lot of people in our town smoke and I’m exposed to inhaling a few breaths of smoke about twice a week.am I just paranoid or should I go to the doctor? If not, how can I best prevent myself from lung cancer?
ps. On my dads side the last two generations have had lung cancer, but both have smoked.
I would go to the doctor and get it checked out for your peace of mind. Don’t ever smoke and don’t ever allow anyone to blow smoke on you (I hear that’s even worse than smoking). Breathing strong chemicals is not great for your lungs and also small airborn particles. I would wear a mask if you are using strong chemicals or sanding.
