Different Types Of Cancer
I’m writing a research essay on why different types of cancer, like breast cancer, are more ‘important’?
So I’m against breast cancer being one of the top funded foundations for cures. I saw we should all have general funding for the general cancer. Now I already have causes and effects. I need solutions. What kind of solutions could I use to show how to make other cancers more known and funded? They have to be real like, What are we doing currently to make this happen?

I should only wish to add that simply because the funds are donated (bear in mind, they aren’t designated that way by the US government) for the cause of breast cancer research, does not mean that only breast cancer benefits. Cancers of all tissues share similarities – thus what we learn about one can often be generalized to others, and often, what we learn can be applied to other fields as well.
People will say things like “I can’t believe they wasted three million dollars to study black bear hibernation! Our government throws away our tax money like no tomorrow!” – and yet, what they don’t realize is that studying bear hibernation, we learn about long term blood sugar metabolism, blood clotting (rather, how it doesn’t), tissue oxygenation, heart and lung function, and so on, in such a way that the results can benefit those with diabetes, pulmonary and cardiac issues, circulatory and neurological issues: so that we can safe life and limb, literally.
In other words, don’t read a book by it’s title.
